DEVILS WIN!!!!
Jack and Luke Hughes each scored a goal as the Devils won a thriller in Vancouver!! It wasn’t pretty by any means, as they blew a 5-2 lead before Jesper Bratt scored the GWG with 34 seconds left. Shoddy defense and goaltending has continued to be an issue, as Vitek Vanecek stopped just 28 of 33 (.848 SV%). But there’s no denying that the now-healthy offense is legit, and thankfully they were able to outscore their problems in this one. They’ve now pulled within three points of Philly in the third Metro Division spot - with two games in hand. The Devils are winners of 4 out of 5 games since Nico Hischier returned to the lineup. They’ll be back late Thursday night to take on the Seattle Kraken. WOO!! 😈
