LAST GAMEDAY OF THE REGULAR SEASON!!!
For the first time in five years, the #NJDevils will be playing beyond 82 games. While tonight is the last of those in the regular season, it is still of utmost importance as the Devils have an opportunity to win the Metropolitan Division. In order to do so, they will need to earn more points than the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. If the Devils earn one point, Carolina will have to lose in regulation vs. FLA. If they defeat Washington and earn two, the Canes will have to lose in regulation OR overtime/shootout. Regardless of the Devils’ result, a Carolina victory means the Devils will officially be playing the New York Rangers in Round One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. *If* the Devils do win the Metro, they will take on the Florida Panthers.
More info on lines, etc. will come near puck drop as the Devils did not have a morning skate.

I want to thank every single one of you that have supported this page along the ride. This season will be the first time in my 4+ years of running Devils Report that I will be able to cover playoff games. It means the world to me. In these past six months, this page has nearly DOUBLED in followers and almost TRIPLED in engagement. Winning hockey does wonders, but whether you joined four years ago or now – I want to thank each and every one of you. Let’s go win a Cup.
I love you all. ❤️🖤
