DEVILS WIN!!!
Ryan Graves’ game winning goal with 1.4 seconds to play stunned the crowd at Nationwide Arena, as the Devils found yet another way to pull out two points!! The script from last season has been entirely flipped. Last season, the Devils did so much right but continued to lose. Now, they’re playing extremely sloppy and doing so much wrong - but winning. This was yet another game where the Devils did not have their all whatsoever. It feels like they haven’t in a long while. Goaltending has been a monumental difference, and we saw that again tonight. Vitek now has points in eleven (!!) straight games, as he stopped 31 of 33 (.939 SV%) in another tremendous display. At the end of the day, all that matters is the W. And that’s exactly what the #NJDevils got tonight. Yes, there’s a lot to work on. But that’s why the Devils are third in the entire league…elite teams find a way to win. And aside from a small stretch in December, they’ve done that all season. WOO!! LGD!! 😈
