GAMEDAY!!!
Jack Hughes and the #NJDevils are back at the Rock to attempt to right the ship after a horrendous start to the season. They’ll be taking on Trevor Zegras and the Anaheim Ducks, who fell to the Rangers last night. Both teams will be looking for a bounce back performance from their goaltending as ANA gave up six and NJ five in their most recent outings. Anthony Stolarz will get the start in between the pipes for the Ducks, and Mackenzie Blackwood is likely for the Devils. Yes, it’s game 3 of 82…but this is as close to a must win as possible this early in the year. Lindy Ruff is already on the hot seat, and the Prudential Center crowd will be ready to pounce on any opportunity to show how they truly feel. To win this game, the Devils need to minimize their defensive mistakes and shut down Troy Terry, who has six points in three games played. Jack Hughes is without a point and a -3 through 2 GP, so he’ll look to bounce back and get on the scoresheet. LGD!! 😈
