This one is tough. There’s no other way around it.

The 2021 Olympic silver medalist for 5000m, our one and only Moh, prematurely ends his Olympic voyage during the 1st round of the 5000m this morning.

With a pedestrian first 3k, the entire field was still bunched together with 450m to go, right where Moh was tripped up and trampled. He gave a valiant effort to make up what turned into a 50m gap within the blink of an eye, but there wasn’t enough runway.

This sport is brutal and our heart goes out for moh_speed23. No protest was granted.

Moh finishes his 4th Olympics with an epic 4th place in the 10,000m! ❤️
