Yep, that’s how the #NCAA is helping fund the settlement, holding back money from the small guy… 

So why bring this up with a #UCONN #NIL article?

Because not only did the athletes get a great opportunity now + mentorship opportunities + franchise fast track BUT UCONN Women’s Basketball got a multi-year court naming deal…

Mid-majors are in a weird spot… They need to figure out how/where they fit in college athletics + add player development programming to try and keep up + cover a $250,000 shortfall AND generate more revenue…

There’s a great lesson and regardless of market size a great opportunity hidden within this article…
