👀📚Here’s a sneak peek into my soon-to-be-released book, “Beyond the Surface: A Gold Medalist’s Guide to Finding and Loving Yourself.” It comes out October 1 and I’ll be posting some of my favorite passages with the hope of bringing inspiration to your day!

Staying consistent in the small steps we take adds up to exponential growth, but sometimes the hardest part is starting. I don’t know anyone who has perfected consistency at all times and in all seasons. There’s no specific formula for always being motivated, on top of your schedule, and thriving. It’s possible to get to that space, and that is our goal, but life is also messy and we’re flawed. Sometimes we have to adjust and reprioritize, and that’s okay, too. 
 
It’s okay for us to pause and take stock. 
 
It’s okay for us to rest, so we can heal. 
 
And it’s okay for us to reconsider the direction we’re going in and reconsider what’s most important to us as we’re on our journey through life, through finding ourselves, and toward healing. 
 
Sometimes we have to start simply by laying the foundation so we can continue to build toward our successes. 
 
Some of the most successful people are those who just keep starting.
