Who better than FPAC’s casts and creative teams of theater professionals from Broadway, NYC, Boston, and beyond to guide our next generation of performers through the Student Apprentice program?! All performers 18 (high school) and under who are cast in FPAC productions appear as “Student Apprentices.” The FPAC Student Apprentice program gives students of the arts a chance to share the stage with and be directed/choreographed by Broadway stars and New York, Boston, and local professional artists. A learning experience in the world of professional regional theater, Student Apprentices are sometimes called upon to assist FPAC’s Stage Management team and crew with things like technical rehearsals, upkeep of THE BLACK BOX space, and more. 

“Who Better Than Me” (FPAC)’s 2024 reimagined, immersive production of TARZAN starring Broadway’s original Tarzan Josh Strickland, Ruby Lewis, and Tyrick Wiltez Jones! THE BLACK BOX was transformed into a multi-stage rock concert centering the iconic Phil Collins music, while telling the classic story by blending Broadway and concert experience. Directed by Raye Lynn Mercer and Ali Funkhouser with choreography by Clay Rice-Thomson (Broadway’s in Moulin Rouge, Newsies, Matilda, King Kong).
