## Caption

Does anyone else get a little anxious taking breaks from social media? This was the second break and to be honest, I have every single time. Will people remember me? I need to post because people are waiting — are thoughts that usually go through my mind.

This time around, I took a 6 week break and it was easily one of the best things I did for myself. I was going through health issues, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my content, and I wanted to stop posting just to post (there was so much anxiety behind this lol).

During this break, I decided that I needed to take a step back from everything, or I wouldn’t be able to take the next steps with this channel(s). And instead, focused on these:
📸 Different types of photography. I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy shooting engagements, especially at iconic places like Central Park. You can see more of this at takenbygrace 
🚶‍♀️ Walked a lot. I missed hitting my daily 10,000 steps
👩‍👧 Spent time with loved ones. My grandpa just moved back to America, so I’ve been trying to spend more quality time with him.
🤳 UGC. Content will always be a part of me and I guess I couldn’t get away from creating. I enjoyed this a lot, and made me see content in a different pov.
👢 Explored the Midwest. I am just as shocked as you are, but I looooved it. Stay tuned for more midwest content.
📔 Journaling. This will always be a part of me, and brain dumped thanks to my new journal I got from cityofsantafe 

One important thing I learned throughout this break is to not be so hard on yourself. Change is inevitable and you gotta be selfish about you and your time. Whether that’s a break from social media or from something totally non-related, do it if it’ll clear your mind and give you a different pov. It’s liberating ✨
