## Caption

The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine (lsuvetmed) recently went through a lot of renovations and upgrades to improve their facility in order to make sure their mission of teaching, healing, discovering, and protecting grows. 

As the only veterinary medicine school in Louisiana, and 1 out of 33 in the country, the school was very excited to add these new and improved changes to their world-class facility. 

In July, the school displayed their brand new sculpture that sit's in front of the Stephenson Pet Clinic on Skip Bertman Dr. It was funded by the Percent for Art Program under Louisiana's Division of the Arts and created by Vito Dibari. 

The purple and gold structure entitled "In Our Hands" symbolizes the values that the LSU Vet School represents; innovation, integrity, and compassion.
