This year I faced so many battles from my business being jeopardized and badly replicated, losing my partner and my grandmother within a 3 day span, which ultimately resulted in me walking away from a terrible job that didn’t allow me the time to even recuperate from such traumatic experiences, struggling financially because I mentally needed/had to take a break in life overall to grieve and pick up the pieces that were left. I fought depression from dealing with death, found myself avoiding family & friends because I was too sad and didn’t want to bring that energy around. I eventually resumed working again but I cried and drowned myself in sorrow every day. Somedays are still hard but I’m thankful for the clarity that God has given me about moving forward & trusting his plan through it all. The prayers have carried me through during times I didn’t know if I could keep going. Through all of this God kept me.  Even-though, I felt so alone grieving and dealing with this hurt I realized, God has been there every step of the way. I’m patting myself on the back for not giving up even though I had every reason to give up this year. I’m thankful my God has carried me into a new year and a new season.
