As I sit here, in the depths of my thoughts, I reflect on the profound experience of filming my episode on @shawnryanshow last Monday. In this moment, a sense of weightlessness and newfound closure washes over me, leaving me profoundly moved. The episode was nothing short of powerful. We delved into the raw, unfiltered chapters of my life - from the haunting specter of my father’s addiction and how local Law Enforcement and a magistrate in that area failed me to help save him. To the harrowing tales of my time in the 82nd Airborne and the scars and injuries of my deployment. We bared our souls, discussing the amazing relationship I have with my wife and son. A future message for my son was woven into the dialogue, a message he will hear when the interview is unveiled to the world.

We navigated the turbulent waters of my career as a police officer, gang detective and S.W.A.T team member, unearthing the shadows that haunt my mental well-being. The suffocating grip of leadership at the police department, draining the very essence of love and motivation from my soul, was laid bare. Yet amidst the tears, the laughter, and the searing anger, one prevailing truth emerged - the opportunity to offer praise and glory to God in the midst of it all.

Jesus chose wild men, and in that moment of vulnerability and revelation, I found solace in the divine grace that guides my path.

@shawnryan762 is undeniably one of the most remarkable men I have ever crossed paths with. My life has been forever transformed by his presence, and for that, I am filled with gratitude.

As always I appreciate my best friend and brother @kylemorganactual for going with me to help guide me through the experience. 

In the face of darkness I’ll never run again.
