Para sprinter and multiple gold medallist, thomasyoungt38, found his love for sport through his old teacher. In partnership with irwin_mitchell, we took Thomas back to his primary school near Coalville to meet Mr McMillan, the person who introduced him to athletics and told him to never give up.

Sharing running techniques and answering questions from pupils, Thomas helped inspire the next generation by showing them that sport is for everyone, and school is a building block for success 🙌
