Meet incoming first-year Dasia! She is interested in studying Nursing or Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Health and Society.

“My biggest goal for the first semester is to make new friends and build meaningful connections with my peers."

Dasia is excited to get involved with SPARK - an organization at Carolina that aims to develop and empower undergraduate women identifying with underrepresented and historically marginalized racial/ethnic backgrounds. She also hopes to join the Black Student Movement on campus!

At orientation, she had one major takeaway:

"Utilize your resources!! There are so many resources available to students at Carolina that I had no idea about until orientation, all of which can be really helpful in navigating through college life."
