Back-to-school season can be both exciting and nerve-wracking, especially for DHH kiddos. As parents, we often focus on new backpacks and school supplies, but what about preparing for those tricky social situations?

Today, I'm sharing a free printable to help you practice important conversations with your child before the first day. We cover:

How to introduce hearing loss/disability to friends, family, or strangers

What to say when other kids stare or seem curious at the playground

Responding to curious parents or strangers

Dealing with unwelcome responses

By role-playing these scenarios at home, we can boost our children's confidence and give them tools to navigate social interactions. Remember, preparation is key!
