Everyone say hi to Daniella! 👋

Daniella is a senior Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management major from Miami, Florida. Follow along on Stories today as she showcases a day in the life as Welcome Week President!

1. What is your favorite Welcome Week event?

My favorite event is Silent Disco! Music brings people together; I love seeing everyone singing and dancing, even if it’s a different song from their friends. It’s so fulfilling to see core memories being made from this.

2. How will students benefit from getting involved in Welcome Week events?

Students will get to learn great leadership skills through Clemson Leader Day, make connections with their peers and get plugged into a variety of organizations at Tiger Prowl. These events are designed for first-year students to learn about themselves and the plethora of opportunities that will grow their love for Clemson.

3. What is your advice to Clemson students as they start a new semester?

Meet as many people as you can and get involved! Pouring into Clemson allows Clemson to pour back into you and joining clubs is the best way to do that. Just remember that your Clemson Family is like no other, truly the people are what make this place special. So glad you are here and have a great semester!
