With almost three decades of representing Nigeria, FUNKE OSHONAIKE is #TeamNigeria's longest serving female athlete of all time having first represented Nigeria in 1991.

IN THE LAST 29 YEARS, she has won over 11 #AfricanGames medals, winning multiple continental medals include 3 African championship, the last of which came after 14 years - Resilience!

She made history after gaining tokyo2020 qualification, making her THE FIRST FEMALE ATHLETE TO QUALIFY FOR SEVEN olympics - 1996-2020 consecutively - joining fellow #TableTennis legend and compatriot SEGUN TORIOLA in the 7-club - a remarkable feat indeed.
