This race was crazy! First of all, in my opinion, it was way too cold. Like, I was freezing by the 25km mark. Nevertheless, we rocked the shorts and arm sleeves look 😂. Although the course definitely wasn’t my favorite, the people were. I saw so many familiar faces, either cheering me on or just screaming at me, like jordiwagnr at km 41! Early in the race, I saw one of my best friends on the sideline, whom I wasn’t expecting at all, so that made me really happy and definitely gave me another push. But I still hit the 30km wall hard, unsurprisingly because due to illness, my longest run in the prep was 21km… After pushing through the last kilometers, I made it over the finish line in 3:35 hours, which I am super proud of, but I know I can do better. Can’t wait for the next race!
