In her latest expedition, filmmaker Teresa Carante journeyed to Micronesia for National Geographic, Pristine Seas in November 2023, utilizing her RED #VRAPTOR 8K S35. Over the course of a month aboard the Argo, she chronicled a team of scientists dedicated to advancing Micronesia's marine conservation efforts. Despite the many challenges of filming at sea, Teresa adeptly maneuvered her hand-held rig amidst unsteady grounds and harsh weather, ensuring each shot was kept as steady and cinematic as possible.

For this project, Teresa relied on the RED V-RAPTOR, harnessing its 16.5+ stops of dynamic range to capture the subtleties of shaded environments without compromising background detail, particularly on bright sunny days. The DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0 LCD Monitor provided essential brightness and clarity. Embracing the balance between efficiency and maneuverability, Teresa outfitted her setup with the vocas baseplate, shoulder pad, and SHAPE Quick Handle + Rod Block, ensuring optimal comfort and control during extended shoots and the often impromptu interviews aboard.
