Stayed at:
hotelthedylan excellent central location, wonderful service, delightful food/drink, have bikes for you to take out

Ate at:
scheepskameel upscale German, a little off the beaten path. You, and I can’t stress this enough, MUST order the lamb shoulder for 3-6 people
cafecaron French inspired, neighborhoody 
fabelfriet favorite fries I tried, long line but moves quickly, spicy mayo is 👏🏼
Hiding in plain sight- chic cocktails

Spots we missed but will go to next time:

dekaslab beautiful greenhouse restaurant
cafe_deklepel wine and oysters and sit at the bar
gebrhartering run by 2 brothers, small, excellent tasting menu 
cafep96 drinks on a canal boat 
pulitzer.amsterdam bar, so many people messaged me about this 
albertcuypmarkt for a waking lunch- one of the biggest markets in Europe with produce, food stalls, and everything in between 

Things we did:
City center walking guide (great way to get the lay of the land and brush up on such a historic city) 
Van Gogh museum with a guide (highly recommend this! Learned so much more about the art by being able to walk through the museum with an expert) 
Vondelpark 
Rijksmuseum 
Golden hour canal cruise- we booked our boat through the hotel but lots of peeps messaged me about amsterdamboatboys and pureboatsamsterdam 

Missed-
Westerpark 
Anne Frank Museum- make sure you book well in advance, we couldn’t get in 
Rembrandt House 

So much more I want to do outside of the city as well. Next time!
