## Caption

This Bells Palsy diagnosis was unexpected. I had NO symptoms prior. It was a sudden issue. I had no explanation as to why it happened but possibilities were- a viral infection, stress/mini-stroke/my blood pressure, or an underlying condition such as Diabetes. 

Currently, I think it was my Diabetes being out of whack because otherwise my blood work and all the scans were clear and nothing significant was found.

3 weeks later I’ve taken a surplus of advise and suggestions as to what to do and try to make it better and I appreciate everyone’s help! Everyone’s words of encouragement and I have in fact tried almost everything that people have suggested.

I’ve realized that it’s a matter of patience and time. As well as in my own way slowing down. 

While it’s frustrating not to be able to smile for a while. I am not worried about what I look like and I am not in a rush to find an instant cure. I continue to live my life as is and have so much going on there is no way to not be on the move. I appreciate the concern and appreciate all the love. 

I know I haven’t replied to everyone and also have maybe avoided certain people when I’m out, I’ve been in an over stimulated place and overly questioned space. I’ve had many reactions to my situation and I appreciate the concern. I am sorry if I avoid talking to some about it but I never want anyone to feel pity and sorry for me. That’s NOT my goal.
