To make drastic cuts in these planet-warming greenhouse gases, farmers are exploring new feed additives that could make much-needed cuts in methane from belching. Among the viable solutions are certain species of seaweed, like one variety of red tropical seaweed that could cut methane from belching as much as 80%.
