Food that fuels the soul 🍲  that's what you call soul food 🔋 

We left our comfort zone and headed to Ooltewah 🚗  We made our way to Cambridge Square to dine in at Davis Wayne's 🍽️  Davis Wayne's is a black-owned business that has been in Ooltewah for six years! 

Here's what we ordered: 
- Parmesan Chicken with cornbread & mashed potatoes
- Smothered Pork Chop with mashed potatoes & gravy
- Slow Cooked Pot Roast with mac & cheese, cornbread and sweet potato casserole

The minute we got our food, we immediately smelled the pot roast! 🤤 YUMMY! Tbh, I wasn't the one who ordered it so regret was settling in. 

Anyways, the chicken was oven-roasted, seasoned with a cheese blend, and topped with housemade bread crumbs. You can't go wrong with ordering any type of potato as a side, it's always going to be delicious 🥔 

Let's talk Porkchop: it was very tender and juicy, coated with a garlicky savory butter sauce. Plus the smoky exterior added an extra kick of flavor and a delightful texture. 

The restaurant was featured in Essence Magazine for its Juneteeth Juice which is a strawberry daiquiri!
