I put together some tips I’ve learned while doing fantasy football that I feel are necessary to win.

If you really want to win in fantasy develop your own gut feelings for players, and use my tips when you find yourself in a draft. Listen to some podcasts, or just read what I post everyday. If by the time you get to your draft you see a player’s name on your board and you have a feeling of whether you like them or not, then I have done my job.

Don’t force the draft. Let the players come to you, but also make smart decisions based on what you know your league mates are going to do. 

Projections and rankings are great as a baseline for where a player will finish, but in the end of the day, I always recommend drafting for upside. Is it really value if you draft someone who finishes two spots higher, when you could’ve had someone that finished several tiers higher?
