Picture this. You’re on the clock at the 3rd pick, with CMC and Saquon off the board. Who do you take, Zeke or Kamara?⠀

ZEKE - Ezekiel Elliot has been one of the most consistently great running backs in the league throughout his career. Now with Mike McCarthy in town, and the Cowboys passing offense adding elite talent, Zeke is primed for another big year. The Cowboys offensive line is still top-3 in the league, leading me to find no reason to doubt Zeke. Sure, if I draft him I would also draft Tony Pollard, but Kamara has Latavius Murray behind him as well. Last season, many people took the lottery-ticket pick in Kamara, over CMC, and I feel like that might happen a lot again this year with Kamara over Zeke. ⠀

KAMARA - There’s been a lot of talk about Kamara’s last season, and the thought that he was truly injured the whole season. Drafting Kamara to me is more very high-risk pick then Zeke is. Kamara has never topped 900 rushing yards in a season, and last year his receiving work fell down a ton. On top of that, he only scored 5 TDs, 4 of which he scored in the final two weeks of the season. I believe that Kamara can be the RB1 in fantasy, but he could just as easily fall out of RB1 territory. This is probably the last year the Saints are going to be competing for a Superbowl, and its highly likely that Brees hangs up the cleats after this year. With that in mind, I expect Kamara to return to his receiving work of old, but he will have a few bust weeks throughout the season. ⠀
