The Denver Food + Wine Festival is almost here! 🍷 #Sponsored This multi-day event will be held September 4-7 and will feature food, wine, and spirits events, presented by the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. @foodwinedenver will feature the best of the Denver restaurant community with over 40 particpating restaurants and more than 600 wine and spirits vendors! 

One of the participating restaurants for the Denver Food + Wine Festival is the highly acclaimed @fruitionrestaurant. I recently visited Fruition, and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Fruition opened in 2007, and I often hear people list it as one of the best restaurants in Denver, and I can definitely see why. All of the dishes that we tried were so inventive and incredibly delicious. Some standouts include the Fried Maitake Slider with hot honey, Fettuccine Alla Chittara with Olathe sweet corn and summer truffle, NY Strip Loin with cipollini onions, Marinated Colorado Tomatoes with cashew cream and pickled shallot and Beef Tallow Potatoes with gruyère and parmesan.🤤 The cocktails at Fruition were also outstanding, and my favorite one was the “An Equal Amount in Each” with gin, blueberry, amaro, lemon, & sweet corn mousse. I’ve never had a cocktail like this one, and the sweet corn mousse was such a surprise, and so scrumptious. I highly recommend visiting Fruition, and I can’t wait to go back!

This event is such a worthy cause, as it is the largest annual fundraiser for the Colorado Restaurant Association’s foundation and all of the proceeds go to support their two main yearly initiatives, the Colorado ProStart program (which is a culinary training program for high school students across Colorado) and the Angel Relief Fund (which is a hardship fund that provides grants for restaurant employees in need). I love that so much!
