A: The Coliseum

St. Pete’s first dance hall opened on November 20, 1924. The very same day as the Gandy Bridge. 

It was best known for the Big Band legends that graced its stage. Those names included Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, and Louis Armstrong.
