In the summer of ‘95, Faith made a memorable first impression with her debut single. The single was initially meant for her label mates Total’s self-titled album but was ultimately reclaimed by Faith after it was revealed that some of the written lyrics were inspired by an argument between her and then-husband, the Notorious BIG.

Faith’s self-titled debut album released on August 29, 1995, and also included another beloved classic, “Soon As I Get Home.”
