2024-25 TEAM AUSTRALIA CHEER UPDATE 🇦🇺

Following our hugely successful 2023-24 campaign where we won 2x World Championships and 2x Silver Medalists, we’re thrilled to share some key dates with the Australian Cheer Community as we embark on our journey toward the 2024-25 ICU World Cheerleading Championships!

📅  9/9: COACH AND STAFF APPLICATION WINDOW OPENS

📅 15/9: PROSPECTIVE ATHLETE AND CHEER COMMUNITY INFO SESSION 
Whether you’re a prospective athlete or part of the broader cheer community, join us to learn about the season ahead and what will be expected of you as part of our National Cheer Teams Program.

📅 22/9: ATHLETE APPLICATION WINDOW OPENS

📅 20/10: PRELIMINARY TEAM PLACEMENT OFFERS SENT 
This is your chance to receive an invitation to our in-person tryout session!

📅 10/12: PRELIMINARY TEAM IN PERSON TRYOUTS (QLD) 
Work with your prospective new teammates and be assessed by coaches as they finalise team rosters.

🚨NEW FOR THIS SEASON🚨
On 10/12 in QLD, our senior teams will kick off with their first SKILLS WORKSHOPS! The day will start with in-person tryouts, followed by a 2-hour break while coaches finalise team lineups. In the afternoon, athletes will find out if they made the final team lineups, and participate in skills workshops, focusing on premier. division pyramid and basket skillsets—setting the stage for a successful season at the highest level of cheer.
