* Definately winning in more ways than one! CONGRATS cameronnichols_ for ur gorgeous winning ONESHOT REDs 2024 ...🏆 And ... ⬇️⬇️⬇️

To put last week into one small post is nearly impossible… and Impossible is a word I unfortunately used to describe how I always felt about putting my self and my art out there. As many of you know who have followed me through out my career, you all know how much I struggled with my weight. As of almost 2 years ago I was 115lbs heavier and that weight left me with so much shame and insecurity. It held me back from ever feeling comfortable enough to allow any form of attention on me and one thing I regret is worrying so much about what other people thought about me, opposed to letting people in on me and my perspective with my art.

One thing I hope for anyone in life is don’t let your own insecurities get in your own way of your potential. (As cliche as that sounds, it’s unfortunately true) I would never want to erase what I’ve been through but I would have been a lot kinder to myself if I had believed in myself earlier, as much as I do now.

As for the oneshothairawards this year. I was really nervous about going, because one I would be going and attending completely alone and two I love attention but on a grand stage like that it was so nerve racking to think if I were to win and having to talk infront of people off the cusp. However this was my first year feeling brave enough to enter and my first year attending; so to come out with a win, placing top 25 and top 100 in my two other categories, completely blew my mind and I am forever grateful for the love and support I have received from my community. One thing that I left with in addition to winning, is people often don’t realize the impacts of their actions and words that can have on someone and so many people left me feeling so warm, welcomed, and embraced and I will forever remember those people and that feeling. I hope people will always remember that simple kindness goes so far and can really impact another persons life. So thank you from the bottom of my heart 🫶🏼.

thebtcshow … I’m coming for round 2 next year. ⚔️ 😉
