Saturday's season opener was the debut of yet another captaincy patch for Auburn.

First debuting in 2022, Auburn sported an NFL-style patch with a navy C on an orange background. For the 2023 season, it was swapped to a simple C letter pulled from the nameplate letter box.

Now, the Tigers are back to the NFL design with a white C on a navy background.
