Enter Shamsuddeen Abdulkareem and his incredible project, Eco Poets, a true success story of Bow Seat’s True Blue Fellowship! With the support of a $2,500 grant, Shamsuddeen is using the power of poetry to engage students in Kano’s schools, sparking interest in environmental issues and driving critical thinking.

Inspired by his early love for nature and a deep concern for his community, Shamsuddeen brings guest poets to schools each month. They blend captivating performances with crucial education on environmental degradation. Eco Poets isn’t just about raising awareness—it’s about inspiring action and combatting indifference through storytelling.
