“God of wisdom and strength, we praise you for the wonder of our being, for mind, body and spirit. Be with us as we begin this new school year.”

Soon after students were dropped off by parents and were greeted by President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J. as they walked through the Blue Doors, Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Chuck Frederico, S.J. delivered the first morning prayer of our 155th year as part of our morning announcements. 

“Bless our students, teachers, staff, coaches, administration and parents. Give us grace and courage as we grow physically, knowledge and wisdom as we search for understanding, peace and zeal as we deepen our love of you and our neighbor. 

"Today and always, we ask for these graces so that we might give you praise and glory that you rightly deserve. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.

“Saint Ignatius Loyola, pray for us. Saint Peter Canisius, pray for us.

"In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen."
