It's been 60 years since the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act was signed into law, which plays such a vital role in preserving our national natural treasures like parks, protected forests, and wildlife areas. Providing 50/50 matching grants to state and local governments helps develop and acquire public outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy.
