According to BirdCast, there’s significant bird movement expected tonight, especially in Central USA. Over 376 million birds are estimated to be heading towards their southern wintering grounds!

Artificial lights at night can confuse these migrating birds, leading to collisions with buildings and depleting the energy reserves that they built before starting their journeys.

We remind you to turn off unnecessary outdoor lights between dusk and dawn to help birds remain focused on their journey.
