When I first started sleeping on the streets, I still had my $4000 computer and my Jordan sneakers… I found an enclosed dumpster and curled up behind it with a shopping cart full of my valuables. But it wasn’t long until I gave away my computer and traded the sneakers for dope. When you spiral into addiction, your values and your worth become blurred.
