24 hours in Kansas City! ⤵️ Kansas City was cute — there's many GOOD restaurants, rooftop bars, shops, landmarks, and fun things to do! We visited for a weekend but if you only had a day to explore KC, here's the perfect day trip itinerary: 🥘 Breakfast at Mildred's. Their guac club was amazing, and there's also a lottt of seating, which is perfect for large groups. @mildredskc 🫖 Cafe Corazon. I mean it when I say it — their Chai Yerba Mate with Oat Milk is to die for. I'm absolutely hooked. @cafecorazonkc ⛲ Shop at The Plaza. The area is stunning with colorful buildings, beautiful fountains, a variety of restaurants, and shops in every corner. 🏨 Check into the Hilton. Hands down one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at — the rooms are spacious, staff is great, and close to restaurants, bars, etc. @hiltonkansascity 🍖 Lunch at Jack Stack BBQ. Your trip to Kansas City wouldn't be complete without getting bbq. The burnt ends and mac and cheese were delish. @jackstackbbq 🏤 WWI Museum. Learn about America's history and then get views of downtown — great place to be outside. ☀️ Sunset at Scout Statue. Perfect spot to end the day with views of downtown. You'll find a lot of families and couples here! 🍦 Betty Rae's Ice Cream. The line was long, but it went by quickly! There are so many fun flavors, and you have to get a scoop in their homemade waffle cones. @bettyraes 🍸 Drinks at Prime Social. We checked out a couple of bars and Prime was my favorite. The drinks and food were great, and the vibes were perfect to end off the day. @primesocialrooftop Visiting Kansas City was definitely one for the books! We visited in July and it was HOT, but we still had so much fun. The city reminded me of a smaller version of NYC — the food and bar scene was great, weekends were lively, and our days were packed! Although we didn't get the chance to watch a Chiefs game this time around, we'll have to come back during season. Hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Kansas City!
