The last time I felt this level of shock in the sporting world was when I learned Kobe Bryant had just past away. Just like before, I was in complete denial when I my wife told me the news. "It couldn't be Johnny", I said, "he's a star". Sadly, even hockey players like the Gaudreau brothers are human. 
This is a shuttering reminder for us to all keep our loved ones close. Johnny - thank you for all you have done. May you and Matthew rest in peace.
