Veronica Danko will be knighted by the Belgian Brewers Guild this September at the prestigious Belgian Beer Weekend in Brussels. This honor recognizes her nearly two decades of dedication to promoting Belgian beer culture in Tampa Bay

Veronica opened the original Independent in St. Petersburg in 2005 with a focus on European beers. She expanded to Tampa in 2009, creating a “World Class Beer Hall” that features local, national, and international selections.
