#TSRUpdatez: On Friday, Apalachee High School shooting suspect #ColtGray and his father, #ColinGray, made court appearances in connection to the deadly shooting.

According to apnews, there were back-to-bcak court hearings held. During Colt’s hearing, he was advised of his rights along with the charges and penalties he is facing in connection to the shooting. After leaving the courtroom, the 14-year-old was called back so the judge could correct a misstatement that his crimes could be punishable by death. The judge clarified that because he’s a juvenile, the maximum penalty he would face is life without parole. Another hearing has been scheduled for December 4th.

The suspect’s father, Colin Gray, appeared next. He is being charged with allowing his son to have the weapon used in the school shooting. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said he’s being charged with involuntary manslaughter and second-degree murder. Hosey said, “His charges are directly connected with the actions of his son and allowing him to possess a weapon.” (🎥: wbirchannel10)
