ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴜᴄᴀꜱ ꜱᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ

Meet Lucas! Lucas is an engaging, sweet little boy diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of three. He was diagnosed shortly after his mother found out she was pregnant with their second child. 

This family drives daily from rural Nevada to Reno for outpatient chemotherapy treatments, infusions, and steroids. With a leukemia diagnosis, most treatment plans are up to three years long. 

He is currently finishing up his second year of treatment and is in maintenance. Although his journey is long and unpredictable at times, Lucas and his family remain positive and smiling through it all.

We are so thankful to have had Lucas at practice today, and are proud to be backing a cause that supports him!
