We really hate making these posts, but this condor deserves justice so that others cannot suffer the same fate. 

The bird was found about 24 hours after it was killed in a remote area northeast of Lewis, Colorado, and west of McPhee Reservoir in Montezuma County. A necropsy has found that the condor died from trauma caused by a gunshot wound.

California condors are still a recovering species and are protected under the federal Endangered Species Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

If you have any information, we urge you to do the right thing and report it.
