Very important on the Golf Course is to have a great Caddy. Robbie is a big help when it comes to select strategy and shots. Very often I find myself just listen to him and his judgements instead of trying hard to find the right shot. For example I would say: I feel a low draw here. Then Robbie would say: it’s 117 front Green, 125 Pin 3 of the left. You need to pitch it 122 5 right of the Pin with a low draw. Wind is 6 into of the right. So hit a 128 low draw Pitching Wedge.
Now I only need to commit to the target and hit the shot. Doing it this way keeps it simple for me and the rounds are less exhausting. Robbie is doing a great job and I’m looking forward the next tournaments with Robbie. Starting this week with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

Auf dem Golfplatz ist es sehr wichtig, einen guten Caddy zu haben. Robbie ist eine große Hilfe, wenn es darum geht, Strategien und Schläge auszuwählen. Sehr oft höre ich einfach auf ihn und seine Einschätzungen, anstatt mich zu bemühen, den richtigen Schlag zu finden. Ich würde zum Beispiel sagen: Ich spüre hier einen niedrigen Draw. Dann würde Robbie sagen: Es ist 117 vorne am Grün, 125 Pin 3 links. Du musst es 122 5 rechts vom Pin mit einem niedrigen Draw pitchen. Der Wind kommt 6 von rechts. Also schlagen einen 128er Pitching Wedge mit niedrigem Draw.
Jetzt muss ich nur noch das Ziel anvisieren und den Schlag ausführen. Auf diese Weise ist es für mich einfach und die Runden sind weniger anstrengend. Robbie macht einen großartigen Job und ich freue mich auf die nächsten Turniere mit Robbie. Wir beginnen diese Woche mit der Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
