The race to become Road to Mallorca Number One is heating up. Germany’s Alexander Knappe is looking to become the first German to be crowned Challenge Tour Number One as he currently leads the Rankings 131,887 points after two victories this season. Knappe’s first victory arrived at the season opening Dimension Data Pro-Am before his second came at the recent B-NL Challenge Trophy by Hulencourt and he is now targeting automatic promotion to the DP World Tour with a third win of the year. Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg is 8,563 points behind in second, while Englishman Nathan Kimsey, German Freddy Schott and Swede Jens Dantorp make up the top five

Das Rennen um die Nummer eins der Road to Mallorca wird immer spannender. Der Deutsche Alexander Knappe will als erster Deutscher die Nummer eins der Challenge Tour werden. Nach zwei Siegen in dieser Saison führt er die Rangliste derzeit mit 131,887 Punkten an. Den ersten Sieg errang Knappe beim Dimension Data Pro-Am zum Saisonauftakt, den zweiten bei der B-NL Challenge Trophy by Hulencourt. Mit einem dritten Sieg in diesem Jahr strebt er nun den automatischen Aufstieg in die DP World Tour an. Der Schwede Mikael Lindberg liegt mit 8.563 Punkten Rückstand auf dem zweiten Platz, während der Engländer Nathan Kimsey, der Deutsche Freddy Schott und der Schwede Jens Dantorp die Top Fünf bilden.
