Needed some time off from posting on social media. Has rather been a challenging stretch of tournaments lately. Loved playing in the states though - great experience! 🇺🇸

My plan was to be playing again in Scotland this week. 
I did cancel the tournament though because of a tick bite that I’ve had the week before the BMW International Open. 
After my return from the States I was diagnosed with Lyme disease (which made a lot of sense in the aftermath since I‘ve had quite a lot of days in Ireland and the states where I felt super weird but always thought it had to do with Jetlag, climate differences, etc.).

I‘ll give my body the necessary rest and hope to be back playing again in Wales next week! 🙌🏻

Ich brauchte mal eine etwas längere Abstinenz von Social Media. Die letzten Wochen waren doch eher anstrengend mit vielen Turnieren und noch mehr Reiserei.
Die zwei Turneire in den USA waren allerdings eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung 💪🏻

Mein Plan war es, dass ich diese Woche in Schottland wieder ins Turniergeschehen einsteige.
Nach meiner Rückkehr aus Kalifornien wurde ich allerdings mit Borelliose diagnostiziert. In der Woche vor der BMW International Open hatte ich einen Zeckenbiss - wahrscheinlich kommt es daher.
Die Krankheit erklärt auch zum Teil, warum ich mich in den Wochen seit Irland öfters mal abgeschlagen und neben der Spur gefühlt habe. In der Zeit dachte ich, dass es an den langen Reisezeiten, Zeit- und Klimeverschiebungen usw. liegt.

Ich gebe meinem Körper jetzt die Zeit, die er benötigt und hoffe, dass ich in Wales nächste Woche wieder dabei sein kann! 🙌🏻
