#PressPlay: According to @tmz_tv, two #Delta planes collided on the runway at #HartsfieldJackson Atlanta International Airport today. One plane was taxiing for takeoff when another clipped its back end, causing panic among passengers.

A Meteorologist Jason Adams was onboard one of the flights and described hearing metal scraping and loud bangs but confirmed there was no fire or smoke. Passengers were evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported. # Delta Airlines confirmed the incident and apologized for the delay.

A rep for Delta told #TMZ “On taxi out, the wingtip of Delta Flight 295 (Atlanta-Haneda) came in to contact with Endeavor Flight 5526 (Atlanta to Lafayette, La.) No injuries have been reported. Maintenance crews are evaluating for damage, and customer care is working to re-accommodate both flights as quickly as possible.
