#MathewKnowles believes race may be a factor in #Beyonce’s lack of recognition from the Country Music Association (CMA). According to TMZ_Tv #Beyoncé’s daddy said he wasn’t surprised that Beyoncé’s #CowboyCarter country album received zero #CMA nominations, especially given her past experience with the organization. He recalled that her 2016 performance with the Dixie Chicks at the CMA Awards wasn’t well-received, and the CMAs never even apologized

Despite Beyoncé having one of the year’s most successful country albums, Mathew suggested that the voting reflects deeper racial divides, saying, “It still comes down to white and Black.” He explained that, with a predominantly white voter base, decisions are sometimes based on race rather than talent and accomplishments.

Although he directly calling the voters racist, he said the lack of recognition “speaks for itself.” He also pointed out that #Shaboozey, featured on Beyoncé’s album, did receive nominations for Best New Artist and Single of the Year with “A Bar Song.”
