According to foxla Kevin Hart’s southern california’s plant-based fast-food chain, #HartHouse has closed all four locations on September 10, 2024. Launched in 2022 by actor and comedian #KevinHart, the restaurant promoted a vegan lifestyle. CEO Andy Hooper confirmed the closure, thanking the team, customers, and partners for their support.

#KevinHart who adopted a mostly plant-based diet in 2020, worked with Hooper to create a fast-food brand offering affordable chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and burgers. Hart House developed its own proprietary patties, avoiding Beyond and Impossible products.

The first location opened near LAX in August 2022, with additional spots in Monrovia and University Park in 2023. The flagship Hollywood Boulevard location, featuring a drive-thru, launched in May 2023.
