Feels like a great day to fire up the grill and get saucy with #62’s hot honey wings. ❤️‍🔥 Make the recipe from jason.kelce’s BBQ playbook.

Ingredients:
3 lb. chicken wings, drum and flats
kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste
1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
½ cup buffalo hot sauce
¼ cup plus 1 tbsp. honey (can use hot honey for extra heat, if desired)
Juice of ½ lime

Prepare:
Season the chicken wings generously with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Prepare the grill using Kingsford® Charcoal to medium-high heat, and set it up for direct and indirect cooking, with the coals pushed to one side to create a hot zone and a cooler zone. The temperature should be around 400°F. Grease the grates to prevent sticking.

Grill the wings over the direct heat side of the grill, with the lid closed, for about 10–15 minutes, turning once, until nicely browned.

Meanwhile, place the butter, hot sauce, honey and lime juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir slowly until combined and heat until it barely simmers, without boiling.

Move the wings to the indirect side of the grill and cook with the lid closed for about 20 minutes more, until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F, basting frequently with the honey hot sauce and turning occasionally.

Remove from the grill, spoon on any leftover sauce, and serve hot.
