#ThrowbackThursday Have you ever checked out the SHRS Facets magazine? This one is from Fall/winter 2005! At this time the Independent Hearing Aid Fitting Forum (IHAFF) gathered at SHRS for a two day conference on teaching methods in Audiology, hosted by Dr. Catherine Palmer, Dr. Kris English, and Dr. Elaine Mormer. Topics included the need for evidence-based teaching, assessment for hearing aids, designing course format, hearing aid features, post-fitting adult aural rehabilitation and troubleshooting, and presenters came from all over the country. #TBT #H2P #PittAuD #PittCSD
